Police Seek 3 Men Suspected Of Robbing Burbank Mini Market

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help Friday to locate three men who are suspected of robbing a mini market at gunpoint in Burbank.

Around 8:50 p.m. on Thursday, officers were sent to the 1500 block of North San Fernando Boulevard for report of a robbery that had just occurred.

Upon their arrival, police discovered the Sevan Mini Market had been set on fire.

Authorities were able to make contact with the victim, who reported he had been robbed by at least three suspects. The victim said one or more of the men were armed with a firearm.

Officers said the victim sustained minor injuries during the robbery.

Reports of explosions were heard and seen at the business. A preliminary investigation revealed the noise was caused by merchandise within the store, not by an explosive device.

It remains unclear how much money or merchandise was stolen from the shop.

At this time, no suspect or vehicle descriptions are being released.

According to police, the cause of the fire remains under investigation, however, it appears to be related to the robbery.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Burbank Police Department at (818) 238-3240.
