Crews Respond To Reported Explosion At Koreatown Apartment Building

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters and police officers were responding Wednesday to investigate a report of an explosion at an apartment building in the Koreatown area, authorities said.

The incident was reported to have occurred sometime before 9 a.m. along the 300 block of South Ardmore Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Some windows were shattered by the blast, but no injuries have been reported, LAPD Officer Christopher No said.

The source of the explosion was under investigation.
