LAPD Searches Studio City Neighborhood For Armed Burglary Suspects

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Two burglary suspects were taken into custody Tuesday after a SWAT team closed off a Studio City neighborhood where they were believed to be hiding.

At least one suspect has already been taken into custody after an attempted break-in was reported at about 10:40 a.m. in the 13000 block of Bloomfield Street, police said.

Several streets were closed off, including Coldwater Canyon Boulevard and Moorpark Avenue, as officers searched the neighborhood.

The burglars were reportedly armed, prompting the LAPD to send out the SWAT team and a police airship to search the neighborhood from the air.
