Armed Robbery Suspect Barricades Himself Inside Metro PCS Store In Palms
PALMS (CBSLA.com) — Police surrounded a Metro PCS store in Palms Friday night following an armed robbery.
They believe the suspect was still inside when they arrived shortly after 7 p.m. so they blocked Venice Boulevard from Main Street to Hughes Avenue.
The barricade ended a few hours later when the suspect came out and was taken into custody.
Officers say he may have taken the store's manager as a hostage during the ordeal.
