LINCOLN HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — The suspected drunken driver had police officers on his tail late Wednesday.

The Honda careened into the Sacred Heart Catholic Church around 11:50 p.m., Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Leonard Ramirez said.

The 10-minute chase began at East Olympic Boulevard and South San Pedro Street when officers suspected the Honda.
Police realized the vehicle wasn’t stolen but they did suspect the driver was under the influence, Ramirez said.
