LAPD Officer On Bike Injured In Sherman Oaks Crash

SHERMAN OAKS (CBSLA.com) — A Los Angeles police officer was hurt in a crash Wednesday while leaving a barricade situation on his bicycle.

The incident happened in the area of Deerhorn Drive and Woodcliff Road in Sherman Oaks.

The media relations division of the LAPD said the officer was on a steep hill when he hit the back tire of another officer and fell off his bicycle.

The officer was treated by first responders at the scene and was taken to a hospital, the LAPD said.
