Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 29)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The Southland will continue to see more of that sticky summer weather from the weekend.

High pressure in the desert continues to expand, keeping temperatures above average and pulling up monsoonal moisture.

There is a wave of energy moving through Monday so expect another chance for a thunderstorm or maybe a sprinkle.

There won't be much change n the weather this week so prepare yourself for continued heat and humidity.

The light at the end of the tunnel: There will be some slight cooling for the July 4 weekend and an even bigger drop in temperatures next week.
