Brush Fire With 'Moderate Rate Of Spread' Breaks Out In Kagel Canyon
LAKE VIEW TERRACE (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters responded to a brush fire that broke out in Kagel Canyon shortly after 11 a.m. on Saturday.
The half-acre fire was said to have a "moderate rate of spread", according to LA City Fire Department's Margaret Stewart.
The canyon lies just northeast of the junction between the 118 and 210 freeways, at 11750 N. Kagel Canyon, at the tip of the Angeles National Forest.
