Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 22)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The work week will close out on a cool and cloudy note.

There will be a chance for spotty showers pretty much anywhere Friday; however, any rain that falls will be light in the metro area.

Some foothill communities could get a quick thunder storm as an area of lift moves through the area.

Temperatures will remain cooler than average through the weekend. In fact, the forecast models are hinting there could possibly be another shower on Sunday.

Next week, things will warm up slightly with some temps in the 80s and 90s by next weekend.
