Search Underway In Westchester For Possible Burglary Suspect

WESTCHESTER (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are searching the Westchester area Monday afternoon for a possible burglary suspect.

Los Angeles police said the Pacific Division received a call about 3:30 p.m. near 83rd Street of the suspect at this location.

"Apparently, the alarm system notified the homeowner that something was happening inside his house," reported Sky 2's Stu Mundel.

Police said the homeowner called authorities via cellphone and was not home.

Officers were dispatched and have established a perimeter.
