1 Killed, 4 Critically Injured When Cars Collide Head-On In Phelan
PHELAN (CBSLA.com) — A head-on car crash in San Bernardino County ended in tragedy, claiming the life of a passenger and leaving four more critically injured.
It happened just before 6 a.m. Sunday on Highway 138 near Hess Road, according to the San Bernardino Fire Department, which responded with three ambulances and 17 firefighters to extricate several passengers.
At least one of the victims was ejected from the vehicles.
California Highway Patrol is investigating what caused the crash.
