Large Tree Falls Onto Car In West Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A tree has fallen onto a vehicle in West Los Angeles but no injuries have been reported.

The crash was reported about 4:53 p.m. Friday in the 11600 block of Santa Monica Boulevard at Federal Avenue.

It prompted the closure of Federal Avenue between Santa Monica Boulevard and Ohio Avenue while authorities await the removal of the tree.
