Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 12)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — We are still on track for some rain later this week!

The marine layer has worked into our inland communities today. We should get some clearing this afternoon with hazy sunshine.

Expect daytime highs to be about five to seven degrees cooler than yesterday. The on-shore flow will continue to dominate through the middle of the week.

The upper level low that we are watching to the north right now is moving a bit faster in our forecast models. Instead of Friday being the rainy day, it looks like later Thursday into Friday may be more accurate in our timing.

The rainfall totals look pretty good at .30 inches in most areas. Higher totals will pop up in foothill communities and higher elevations. Snow levels could drop as low as 5,000 feet.

For the next couple of days, expect low clouds burning off for hazy sunshine.
