Military Chopper Makes Emergency Landing In LA River
SOUTH GATE (CBSLA.com) — A military helicopter made an emergency landing in the Los Angeles River in South Gate Monday.
South Gate police received a call about a Marine aircraft that made a precautionary landing in the riverbed around 1 p.m.
Two pilots landed safely and were able to exit the aircraft, a Cobra attack helicopter, without injuries. The pilots are working with Marine technicians on a repair.
