Flash-Flood Warning Issued For Parts Of Antelope Valley

OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — The National Weather Service in Oxnard issued a flash-flood warning Thursday for parts of the Antelope Valley area as heavy rainfall is expected until around 5:45 p.m.

Doppler radar in the area indicated heavy rainfall around 4:30 p.m. and rain gauges are reported to have logged as much as 1.25 inches of precipitation during a one-hour period, with flash flooding possible along roadways and washes.

The storm is expected to produce rainfall in the Lake Los Angeles area into Thursday evening.
