Cristobal, who answers to the name Chris, was last seen near the 15800 block of Manzanita near Catawba.

CBS2's Tom Wait was there for the happy reunion between Patino and his family.

Patino was reportedly spotted about a block from his home in a neighbor's backyard.

The neighbor called police who came to rescue the child.

Wait said police had undertaken an exhaustive search for the boy including a helicopter search and rescue dogs.

The family is not sure why Cristobal wandered off but told Wait they were just grateful to have him home.
