Police: Arcadia Hotel Robber Has Distinctive Facial Tattoo

ARCADIA (CBSLA.com) — An armed man with a distinctive facial tattoo robbed an Arcadia hotel early Monday morning, police said.

The robbery happened about 4:59 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 199 North Second Avenue, Arcadia police said. A night clerk reported a man entered the lobby, displayed a black revolver and demanded cash from the register, police said.

The clerk gave the robber an undisclosed amount of money, and police say he was last seen walking out the front door.

The robber was described as a clean shaven black man about 25 years old, 5-foot-10 with a thin build, dark complexion, wearing a dark-colored hat, a dark hooded sweatshirt, light gray sweat pants and red-and-white athletic shoes.

Police say the robber's face had tattooing that started above both eyes, went around the eyes, down his cheeks, and continued down the front of his neck.

Anyone with information about the robbery can call Arcadia Police at (626) 574-5151 and reference case #15-1976.
