Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 20)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — There's a bit of a change in the forecast this week with cooler weather and some more clouds.

There are also a few chance for light showers, scattered t-storms and drizzle.

A trough digging into the region and several low pressure centers will rotate through the bottom of the trough. It starts Monday with some low clouds and a few mountain showers.

These systems are definitely moisture starved, but there is lift in the atmosphere and that will bring us the threat of a shower or t-storm throughout the entire week.

Temperatures will be running below average topping out in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Keep in mind, none of the showers are going to be all that threatening, but if a t-storm pops up (again best chances will be for the mountains) there could be a brief heavy downpour or even some hail mixed in.

In general, expect an unsettled and cooler than average week.
