Top 3 Fantasy Baseball Players After 2 Weeks Of Play

After two weeks in the books, players are beginning to position themselves in the baseball fantasy rankings. Leading the way is Dodger first baseman Adrian Gonzalez. Gonzo is off one of the best starts in Dodgers history, hitting over .500 while Royals OF Lorenzo Cain is the biggest surprise, ranking third in the rankings. Here are the Top 3 Fantasy Baseball players after two weeks.

1. Adrian Gonzalez is off to one of the best starts by any Dodgers player in the history of the club after hitting .550 with 5 home runs and 11 RBIs in the first two weeks of the 2015 season. In the first three games he hit 10 hits in 13 at bats with five home runs, three of which were hit on the same day, and 7 RBIs. In his last five games (4/12-4/18), he has six doubles. Adrian Gonzlaez is the REAL-early MVP for 2015 season. He is listed No. 1 in all fantasy leagues.

2. Lorenzo Cain is showing who the best all-around player to the American League is after a blazing start to the season. Not only is the second-ranked Cain doing it with the bat, but as well with the glove. Cain has a .93 fielding percentage that included two sensational diving catches during the early Minnesota series. He can do it all – steal, hit and catch. Before the season, yahoo projected the 29-year-old to finish at 195th in fantasy. Now he is No. 2 overall.

3. As expected Arizona's Paul Goldschmidt is fantasy baseball's third best player after two weeks of the season. He leads the league with 13 RBIs and ranks second in home runs with 4. He also has two stolen bases under his belt. Expect Goldschmidt to stay within the top five throughout the season.
