Pasadena Police Seek Man Who Forced Woman Into Car

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Police are looking for a man who forced a woman into his car in Pasadena late Friday night.

The woman was walking home on Marengo Avenue at Penn Street, police said, when the man pulled the car alongside her just after 10 p.m., according to Pasadena police. When she ignored the man, he stopped the car and got out, then physically forced her into the front passenger seat. She was able to strike the man in the face and groin and escape.

Police said the suspect, a clean-shaven, bald black man in his late 30s, then drove away to the north.

The suspect was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, police said. He was driving a newer gray vehicle, possibly a Honda CRV.

The Pasadena Police Department asks anyone with information to call 626-744-4241.
