Public's Help Sought To Locate 74-Year-Old Man Reported Missing In East LA

EAST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help Thursday to locate a 74-year-old man who has been reported missing.

Jose Lopez Corona was last seen at Castaneda-Crollet Mortuary located in the 3000 block of East Cesar Chavez Avenue around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies explained Corona's family is very concerned as he suffers from Alzheimer's disease and has high blood pressure.

Detectives described him as a Hispanic man who has grey hair, brown eyes, stands 5-foot-5 tall and weighs 155 pounds.

Corona also has a scar on his lower back. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, grey pants, black Nike shoes and a silver medical bracelet.
