Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 14)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — We are looking at a decent wind event for Southern California as a dry front has passed well to the north of us.

The winds kick in this afternoon, which could reach 30 to 40 mph with gusts above 60.

Advisories and watches are in place for mountains, desert and Inland Empire communities.

By tomorrow, most valleys in the viewing area could be dealing with some gusty and dangerous winds. The off-shore flow will also bring some warm temperatures for the latter half of the work week.

Today, temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 70s. Tomorrow it will be in the mid 80s.

We stay warm through Saturday, but the winds should pull back a bit by Friday.
