ARCADIA (CBSLA.com) — A broken water pipe led police to a marijuana grow house in Arcadia, officials said.
Authorities said more than 700 marijuana plants were found inside a home on East Newman, near the 210 Freeway.
The owner of the property was reportedly out of town and had someone check on the leak.
That’s when the marijuana plants were discovered.
Police said they found irrigation systems and drying bins throughout the home.
The electric meter was also rigged to bypass detection.
No one was present at the home at the time of the discovery.
