No Victims Found Near Angeles National Forest Crash Site

GLENDORA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities searched a rugged area near where a car was found crashed in the Angeles National Forest, north of Glendora, but found no victims.

A passersby reported seeing a crashed car about 100 feet down an embankment from Glendora Mountain Road, near Glendora Ridge Motorway, and notified authorities shortly before 9 a.m., county fire Inspector Chris Reade said.

Rescuers searched for possible victims, but called off the search shortly before noon after concluding that the wreckage was old, and there were no victims at the site, the fire department reported.
