VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — A 41-year-old man suspected of fatally stabbing his girlfriend was charged on Monday.
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Osmar Gomez faced one count of murder and a special allegation that he personally used a box cutter, which is considered a deadly and dangerous weapon.READ MORE: Search Underway For 3 Suspects In Glendale Robbery
Prosecutors said Gomez is accused of fatally stabbing his girlfriend on Tuesday while she sat in the front passenger seat of a truck, located in an alley near Lemay Street and Kester Avenue.

He was arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing on Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
