Perris Vegetation Fire Contained At 5 Acres
PERRIS (CBSLA.com) — Riverside County sheriff's deputies evacuated an area in Perris due to a vegetation fire Sunday.
Riverside County Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the area of Lake Mathews Drive and Gavilan Springs Ranch Road following reports of a blaze at 1:07 p.m., leading deputies to evacuate Dawson Canyon Road and Arcano.
The fire was contained at five acres by 3:41 p.m., according to a Riverside County Fire spokesperson.
Cal Fire personnel worked in cooperation with Riverside to contain the flames.
No injuries were reported.
