Police Investigate 2 Home Burglaries In Fullerton

FULLERTON (CBSLA.com) — Police Wednesday were investigating two home burglaries in an Orange County gated community.

Both crimes were reported Tuesday night in the 2800 block of Ashberry Court in Fullerton, officials said.

At the first location, the residents were not home but returned to find their house ransacked.

Police believe the suspect then went to a second home two doors away where he was caught on security video.

The man wearing all black was seen walking through the residence when he was confronted by a woman.

Her husband attempted to stop him, but the suspect was able to escape.

A perimeter was established, including a K-9 search, but no suspect was located.

It was unclear what was taken from the homes.
