ORANGE (CBSLA.com) — Chapman University’s Moulton Hall was evacuated Thursday after a possible pipe bomb was reported outside the building.
A suspicious package was found about 9 a.m. behind Waltmare Theatre, and campus officers who responded to the scene determined it was a possible pipe bomb, Chapman University spokeswoman Mary Platt said.READ MORE: Día De Los Muertos Celebrations and Others Return To LA

By 11 a.m., Moulton Hall was reopened and classes inside the building resumed, Platt said.
