Woman, 29, Reported Missing Near Victorville

LUCERNE VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are reaching out to the public in the disappearance of a 29-year-old woman last seen in Lucerne Valley, a community 25 miles east of Victorville.

Krystie Stuart was last seen on March 2 leaving her home for an appointment in Apple Valley, according to Inland Empire police.

Officials found Stuart's pickup truck abandoned in the desert area of north Apple Valley.

Investigators are evaluating the vehicle for possible clues. They say there's no evidence currently to suggest foul play was a factor in her disappearance.

They say Stuart may not be taking needed medications.

Stuart is described as white, five-foot-nine and 107 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police asking the public to contact them if they know anything about her whereabouts.

Meanwhile, a group of Stuart's friends are in the process of organizing a search on Thursday in Apple Valley.
