VENTURA (CBSLA.com) — St. Patrick’s Day parade organizers tell CBS2/KCAL9 that Sham Hock, the giant inflatable green pig that was stolen last week, has been recovered.

Sham Hock has been a constant presence at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Ventura for 25 years.

He was stolen from in front of a Ventura storage facility.

Sham Hock was reportedly found Tuesday, in a crate, on Ventura Boulevard in Ventura.

Organizers are still sty-mied about who stole the pig but they suspect pranksters.

The parade organizers said they were happy to recover Sham Hock just in time for the annual parade.
