Burbank Police Release Photos Of Person Of Interest In 2014 Home Invasion Robbery

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — Police Wednesday released new information in the search for two suspects involved in a home invasion robbery.

The crime took place around 4:15 p.m. Nov. 1, 2014 in the 1300 block of Paseo Redondo in Burbank, officials said.

The two male suspects reportedly knocked on the front door of the home, claimed to have a mail delivery, and once the female housekeeper opened the door, they forced their way inside.

They then forced the victim into a bathroom and took a significant amount of money before fleeing the scene, Burbank police said. Police estimate the thieves made off with roughly half a million dollars in cash, which was kept in the house, but not in a safe.

The woman told police one of the men was wearing a ski mask and was armed with a handgun.

Officers released photos of a person of interest in the case as well as a possible suspect vehicle.

Investigators say the suspects drove a light blue, single-cab Ford Ranger, with pink or red reflective stickers on the tailgate.

The homeowner is now offering $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction in the case.

"This monetary reward is being offered from and through the victim," Burbank Police officer Joshua Kendrick said. "It is not through the Burbank Police Department."
