STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Comedian Ben Hague stopped by KCAL9 on Sunday to share a few jokes on set, and talk about his upcoming productions.

Hague is one of the fastest rising stars in the comedy world.

The funnyman isn’t just limiting his routine to laughs, but also has a serious side to him.

He wrote, produced, and starred in the film called “Getting Home” — a film about two Americans who are separated from their team while serving their last few days in Afghanistan — which was recently submitted to several festivals, including the Los Angeles Film Festival.

Hague will be headlining at several venues around the country while on tour through April. After that, he plans to wrap up a screenplay and pilot.
