Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Feb. 20)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Expect a cool and cloudy weekend here in Southern California. There is the possibility of some wet weather as well.

There's an increasing on-shore flow through Monday, which will first translate into a few clouds Friday and temperatures that will drop a degree or two.

Even with the cooler weather, we will still stay above average. Saturday, though, expect to dip below average and by the evening we may see some light drizzle or a shower or two.

There is a trough that is deepening up north and that will increase our marine layer Sunday to the point where we will squeeze out moisture through the day.

Rainfall totals will range from a trace to .10 inch at the most.

There could be a few light scattered showers and drizzle spots stretching into Monday and early Tuesday, but then we should dry up.

Keep in mind the rain will be extremely light and there is a good portion of the area that will remain completely dry through the 72-hour period.

Temperatures will be on the cooler side through Tuesday and even into late next week with daytime highs only reaching into the mid to upper 60s.
