Pico Rivera Couple Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide
PICO RIVERA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Tuesday were investigating the shooting deaths of a married couple in Pico Rivera.
Gloria Sancho, 73, and her husband, 68-year-old Antonio, were found dead after the shooting was reported just after 10 a.m. in the 9600 block of Kruse Road in Pico Rivera, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.
Family members say the couple was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday to finalize their divorce after being married for 26 years.
"...got into some type of argument, and it looks like the husband shot the wife, then shot himself," sheriff's Lt. John Corina said.
Detectives say there was a third person in the house at the time of the shooting -- Gloria's son from a previous marriage. Family members say that he is in his 50s, bed-ridden and cannot speak. He was not injured at the time of the shooting.
