Crews Knock Out Koreatown High-Rise Fire

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters were responding Friday to a structure fire at high-rise building in Koreatown, authorities said.

Smoke was seen outside a 15-story building along the 3600 block of Wilsire Boulevard near Hobart Boulevard, according to LAFD spokeperson Katherine Main.

A knockdown was reported in about 15 minutes, Main said.

A second-floor balcony was damaged, but no injuries were reported.
