Woman Killed, Husband Wounded In Harvard Heights Stabbing

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An investigation continued Monday into a stabbing that left a woman dead and her husband in critical condition.

The stabbing occurred just before 6 p.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of Hobbart Boulevard in Harvard Heights, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the female victim blocking the front door. Once they cleared the house, officers located her husband in a bedroom suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to a local hospital where he underwent surgery and was expected to survive, police said.

A motive and suspect information were not released.
