Plane Bound For LAX Has To Turn Back To NY After Experiencing 'Temperature' Issue
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A JetBlue plane bound for LAX Sunday evening turned back to New York City when the jet developed a "temperature control issue," officials said.
Flight 623 departed New York's JFK International Airport (JFK) for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at 10:37 p.m.
The jet had been scheduled to leave about an hour earlier.
Shortly after take-off, the flight crew reported a temperature control issue and the captain elected to return to JFK, JetBlue said.
The airline said the 147 passengers will be booked on another aircraft and flown to LA Sunday evening.
