BATON ROUGE, La. (CBSLA.com) — A man who helped former New Orleans Saints safety Darren Sharper drug women before allegedly raping them said he saw former USC and current Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush spiking women’s drinks, a New Orleans newspaper reported.

Former deputy Brandon Licciardi told investigators last year that he saw Bush put Ecstasy to women’s drinks in a Las Vegas club. Licciardi made the comments while being questioned about two incidents in which Sharper was involved in alleged rapes, The Advocate newspaper reported.

“OK, um, I was in Vegas about three years ago and, um, Reggie Bush put Molly in Champagne,” the article said. “He was handing out Molly on the dance floor to girls. Handing it out. Like giving it to them,” Licciardi said.”

However, later in the interview, Licciardi took a step back and changed the story a bit by saying he didn’t see him put the drug into drinks. Instead, he said he just saw him handing them out.

It is unclear, according to the report, if the women knew about the drug bring put into their drinks.

Bush’s attorney says he denies allegations made in the Louisiana courtroom, according to the Detroit Free Press.

“This is outrageous,” Bush’s California-based attorney Shawn Holley told the Free Press. “I can say to you on the record that Reggie adamantly, vehemently and unequivocally denies all of the statements in that article. We are demanding a retraction from The Advocate and Reggie is considering taking legal action.”

Sharper was indicted in December by Louisiana grand jury on two counts of aggravated rape and a separate count of simple rape.

Sharper remains in jail in Los Angeles as he awaits a separate date-rape trial.
