Moorpark College Notifies Students About Potential Measles Exposure
MOORPARK (CBSLA.com) — The measles outbreak is still spreading.
Moorpark College just sent more than 13,000 notices to students, staff and faculty regarding potential measles exposure.
The Ventura County Public Health Department notified the school's health coordinator that a student had possibly been exposed to measles earlier in the week.
Officials have so far confirmed measles cases in 14 states across the country.
In California, incidents jumped by 54 percent in a little over a week.
