Driver Injures 2 Pedestrians Before Ramming Vehicle Into Side Of Koreatown Building

KOREATOWN (CBSLA.com) — Two people were injured Friday after being struck by a vehicle in Koreatown.

The incident took place around 8:15 a.m. near W. 8th and Fedora streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victims were hit by a minivan while they were on the sidewalk outside Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools, the site of the former Ambassador Hotel.

The driver then crashed into the side of the building.

Both people were transported with minor injuries, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

No further details were released.
