San Bernardino Christian School Secretary Suspected Of Committing Lewd Acts With Teen

BARSTOW (CBSLA.com) — Detectives Tuesday were seeking possible additional victims of a 37-year-old woman suspected of committing lewd acts with a teenage boy she met at a school in San Bernardino County.

The parents of a 14-year-old student at Barstow Christian School contacted authorities Sunday after reportedly discovering inappropriate text messages on his cellphone.

After an investigation, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department detectives determined Kristen Kay Blanton, a secretary at the boy's school, took the victim to various locations from October to December 2014 and committed sexual acts.

Blanton was taken into custody at the school Monday and was booked on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a child, oral copulation and contact with a minor with the intent to commit sexual offense.

She posted $150,000 bail and was released at 11:30 p.m., officials said.

Investigators are concerned there may be additional possible victims and asked anyone with information regarding the investigation to contact detective David Clifford at (909)387-3615.
