LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The San Francisco 49ers’ right tackle Jonathan Martin can now add crime-fighter to his resume after he helped thwart a robbery at the Versace store in the Beverly Center.
The attempted robbery happened around 4:20 p.m. Thursday when the Niners lineman, whose parents live in Ladera Heights, witnessed a man stealing two purses from the luxury store.
