LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a Los Angeles resident has been arrested in connection with an arson at the home where the 1993 movie “Mrs. Doubtfire” was filmed.

Welch was booked on suspicion of arson, possession of an incendiary device, trespassing, attempted murder, and making criminal threats.READ MORE: Man in Riverside Barricades Himself Against Police After Shooting His Wife
The accusations stem from the Jan. 1 fire at the home in the 2600 block of Steiner Street. It remains unclear what led police to suspect Welch in the incident.
