Three victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds were located outside.

The victims were among a couple hundred people attending an all-night New Year’s Eve party at the location, where two of them were working as security guards, according to investigators.

“I just thought it was going to be fun all night,” party-goer William Johnson said. “I would have stayed at home if I knew anything was going to happen.”

One of the victims was treated at the scene. Two others were transported to a local hospital, where security guard Richard Williamson, 48, was later pronounced dead.

Williamson’s son says that his father went by the nickname “Big Will”, and was the owner of the security business.

The other victims are described as adult males, ages 22 and 28.

“I woke up, to my amazement, and saw muzzle flashes, coming from both sides of the parking lot,” witness Michael Marcoly said. “I saw people scattering. It’s really hard for me to say, but I saw the security officer go down, and he died a hero.”

The suspects are outstanding.
