Residents Rescued From Burning Apartment Building In Glendale
GLENDALE (CBSLA.com) — Crews were on the scene of a residential fire Friday that erupted in an apartment building in Glendale.
According to the Vergudo Fire Department, crews were sent shortly before 4:00 a.m. to the Villa Apartments located in the 400 block of North Adams Street for reports of a second-alarm fire.
Once on scene, firefighters ordered all residents to evacuate from the building.
A few residents had to be rescued in the process, crews explained.
According to fire officials, the flames were knocked down around 4:40 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
