UCLA Police Search For 2 Suspects Who Robbed Student At Gunpoint

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  —  UCLA Police are looking for two suspects they say robbed a student at gunpoint on Thursday.

The alleged robbery took place around 2:37 a.m., officials said.

The victim said he was walking in the 10900 block of Strathmore Drive when he was approached from behind by two black males. The victim said he was pushed to the ground. At this time, he said one of the men produced a handgun and demanded his cell phone and wallet.

He said the men fled in separate vehicles.

The first suspect was described as being between 20-25 years old and about 170 pounds. The suspect had a dark complexion, shaved head and was wearing a navy blue sweater without a zipper.

The second suspect was described as being 20-25 years old with long hair.

The vehicles were described as a gold colored, 4-door sedan, older model late 1990s to 2000s. The second car was described as a white, older model 10-12 person passenger van, very dirty with body damage.
