LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) – The Los Angeles Lakers have failed to acquire future free-agent Rajon Rondo after Celtics accepted an offer by Dallas Mavericks in a multi-player trade.

Before accepting the offer, according to ESPN, the Celtics denied the Lakers offer which included Steve Nash, who won’t play a single game this season, and multiple draft picks for the 28-year old from Louisville, Kentucky.
