Reward Offered For Burglary At Offices Of Paul Walker's Manager

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — The manager of late actor Paul Walker Thursday sought the public's help Thursday after what he says was a burglary at his Hollywood office.

Matt Luber says his office in the 5800 block of Sunset Boulevard was ransacked Sunday.

According to Luber, the burglary on Nov. 30 targeted computers which contained pictures as well as email and voicemail messages from the 40-year-old Walker, who died in a car crash exactly one year ago.

CBS2's Kara Finnstrom reports he's now released security video of the crime and is offering a reward of information leading to the suspects.

"My assistant called me and said, 'I just got to work and all our computers are missing'," said Luber. "Once I realized my hard drive was stolen that backed up all of it, then it was a little bit of feeling of helplessness."

According to Luber, a security camera video shows two women carrying about 15 Mac computers, hard drives and printers out of his offices.

The video was taken shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday, right after a building security guard went off-duty when no one without an access code should have been inside the building.

Police confirmed they received a burglary report from Luber's offices, but they're not commenting on the video.

Luber noted the burglary occurred exactly one year after Walker and friend Roger Rodas were killed while driving at high speeds in Rodas' Porsche in Santa Clarita.

"It's sort of highlighting an emotional time for me, so none of that is good," he said.

Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to call (866) 370-2019 x100.
