Police Seek Help Idenfitying Man Accused In Theft Of Credit Cards, $500K In Jewelry From West LA Home

WEST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Tuesday in providing information that would lead to the arrest of those responsible for burglarizing a home in Cheviot Hills.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspects allegedly robbed a home located in the 3000 block of Earlmar Drive by prying open the rear French doors of the house around 1:30 p.m. on May 12.

Officers explained the suspects allegedly stole credit cards and $500,000 valued in jewelry, and fled from the property.

Detectives described one of the suspects as a white or Hispanic man with dark hair and facial hair. He stands 5-foot-5 tall and weighs 150 pounds.

Video footage later revealed the suspect attempting to use the stolen credit cards at two Orange County locations.

One video showed the suspect wearing a dark long sleeved shirt with dark pants and blue shoes.

In the second video, he was seen wearing a brown coat with white lining, a blue shirt, dark pants and tan boots.

Another suspect was seen in the videos, but could not be visually identified, officers explained.
