Man Arrested For Allegedly Fondling Boy In Restroom Of Arcadia Restaurant

ARCADIA (CBSLA.com) — A 31-year-old man was in custody Tuesday after allegedly committing lewd acts with a 10-year-old boy in Arcadia.

Police responded Monday at 6:44 p.m. to the Westfield Mall, 400 S. Baldwin Ave., on a report of sexual battery involving a minor.

After a preliminary investigation, police determined a boy was fondled in the restroom of Dave & Buster's. Following the incident, the boy told his mother, who chased the suspect as he left the restroom.

The managers of Dave & Busters were alerted and resumed the chase, caught up with the suspect and detained him. Mall security responded and detained him until police arrived.

The victim identified the suspect as Kwan Chow, of Monterey Park, and he was taken into custody.

After further investigation, police say another boy was also molested in the men's room of Dave & Busters over the weekend, CBS2/KCAL9's Kristine Lazar reported. Chow may also be suspected in that crime.

Anyone with information about Chow or who believes they may have been a victim can contact the Arcadia Police Department at (626)574-5123. Those wishing to remain anonymous, can call "Crime Stoppers" at 800-222-TIPS (8477) or by texting the TIPLA plus the tip to CRIMES (274637).
